three ladies at night by a menu outside a restaurant - taken in low light with Leica M3 on Ilford HP5+
The pictures on this site have been made predominantly with the following cameras and equipment:

Film cameras:
Leica M3, Leica M6, Leica MP, 35mm Summicron version 4 and ASPH, 50mm Summicron and 50mm Summarit-M f/2.4.

Nikon F3, Nikon FE, Nikon FM, a mix of Nikkor lenses, clear favourites being the 20mm f3.5, 55mm Micro-Nikkor and 105mm f2.5.

Black and white photos are generally shot on Ilford HP5+, my all time favourite, and Ilford FP4+, developed in Ilfosol or ID-11. I still use film on occasion and do miss the simplicity, however I am never fully satisfied with a hybrid process, scanning and digitally printing rather than "proper" silver prints on an enlarger.

Digital cameras:

Olympus OM-D E-M1 and Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II - generally using the excellent small Olympus primes.

Leica X typ 113, Nikon D90, Nikon D750, continuing to use older lenses and the outstanding Zeiss Milvus 35mm f2.

Having moved from Adobe Lightroom, the majority of my more recent post processing has been done in Capture One and I am really pleased with the results, particularly with the micro four thirds sensors in the Olympus cameras.
