People watching - a few street, life and candid people photographs from in and around my home town - all unposed.

The pictures on this site have been made predominantly with the following cameras and equipment:
Film cameras:
Leica M3, Leica M6, Leica MP, 35mm Summicron version 4 and ASPH, 50mm Summicron.
Nikon F3, Nikon FE, Nikon FM, a mix of Nikkor lenses, clear favourites being the 20mm f3.5, 55mm Micro-Nikkor and 105mm f2.5.
Black and white photos are generally shot on Ilford HP5+, my all time favourite, and Ilford FP4+, developed in Ilfosol or ID-11. I still use film on occasion and do miss the simplicity, however I am never fully satisfied with a hybrid process, scanning and digitally printing rather than "proper" silver prints on an enlarger.
Digital cameras:
Leica X typ 113, Nikon D90, Nikon D750, continuing to use older lenses and the outstanding Zeiss Milvus 35mm f2.
Olympus OM-D E-M1 and Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II - generally using the excellent small Olympus primes.
Having moved from Apple Aperture, the majority of my post processing has been done in Adobe Lightroom. Recently I have moved to working in Capture One Pro and am really pleased with the results, particularly with the micro four thirds sensors in the Olympus cameras.
